HOUSE COMMITTEE NEWS

Dear Members,

The House Committee has been very active thus far during the summer months.  Sal Campo and his very dedicated volunteers have been operating both the Bingo kitchen and Pavilion on Friday evenings.  The Antlers have been working very hard serving food at both Bingo and the Pavilion.  The Bar kitchen besides serving lunch, also operates the kitchen in the Pavilion on Sundays.  Please continue to support their efforts.  The Antlers have also been assisting by setting up the halls and pavilion for weddings and private parties.

Fall will be upon us in a few months and that means the various leagues will be starting up for the 2005-2006 season.  To help clarify the Grand Lodge policy, all Lodge sports leagues (shuffle board, pool, darts, horse shoes, etc.) are open to members and their spouses.  This rule will be strictly enforced this year to keep us in compliance.

In order to generate income for the Lodge, the House Committee has scheduled the following special events:

September 4th-------Labor Day Weekend Seafood Festival

            October 1st------------Oktoberfest

            November 26th........Italian Night

December 17th......Christmas Party/Cash for Christmas Raffle

            December 31st ......New Year's Eve

            January 14th...........Candlelight Dinner

            February 25th.........Polish Night

            March 18th..............St. Patty's Night

Anyone wishing to volunteer at these events please contact me in the near future so we can put you to work.

      See you around the Lodge

            Fraternally,
